I love my Homemade Potstickers. Truly. I won’t even try another recipe.
However, whenever I’ve made them I kind of punted on the sauce for the little football-shaped morsels. Random soy sauce and ginger combinations have failed to impress. I just couldn’t find the right mix of ingredients.
While we all agreed that all three were quite tasty, we did settle on two favorites. I’ll probably make both every time. It’s fun to mix and match.
The first recipe is a full-force kick of flavor with garlic, ginger and chili oil. It’s a little thicker and I like that. The second recipe tastes more like what I get from our local Thai and Yakisoba restaurants…a subtle flavor of sweet & salty vinegar. It’s thin and light and was hands down, my husband’s favorite.
