The Joy of Food

Guess there’s another “foodie” in the house.

My littlest boy wrote this poem at school about what “Joy” is to him. It may just have a permanent spot on my refrigerator.

Several sweet lines were about his favorite foods.

It’s nice to know that simple things like Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread after school or a Snickerdoodle Cake for a special occasion can really feed the soul.

Thanks, Sam.

Joy

Joy looks like running at a park

Joy feels like a heart beating slowly

Joy sounds like the bells ringing at a symphony

Joy tastes like a good Snickerdoodle Cake

Joy smells like my mom’s pumpkin bread when I come home from school

Joy reminds me of when I went to Hawaii
